Bãi Bùi
Hidden in the heart of Hòa Bình province, this sprawling grassland was once a grazing land for the local Muong people and has only recently been discovered by travelers seeking untouched nature. As the seasons change, so does the landscape: tender green shoots and purple-red leaves in spring, a cool green canopy in summer, and a breathtaking display of fiery red and gold in winter when the Tlau leaves turn before they fall. It’s a place for slow, mindful camping, for photographer, for watching the sunset paint the valley below, and for connecting with the quiet, powerful beauty of the northern highlands.
Note: This is a wild camping spot with no developed facilities or services. You must be completely self-sufficient, bringing all your own camping gear, food, and water, and be sure to pack out all trash.
